Direct gas fired units provide the ideal means of supplying heated replacement make up air. A balanced amount of make up air provides a slight positive pressure uniformly throughout the building, controlling all the incoming air. The fully modulating control system delivers the precise amount of heat required at maximum efficiency, thereby minimising running costs. On certain applications, e.g swimming pool halls, heat recovery can be added to reclaim up to 60% of the heat from the exhaust air.

The new and improved direct and in-direct gas fired heater – the Nordair Niche is designed to meet the most demanding heating and ventilation needs across a wide range of applications. It provides reliable solutions for make up fresh air in buildings where air is being extracted for process ventilation purposes.

Variable air volume control may be fitted as an option on all direct gas fired models and is particularly beneficial where extract ventilation rates fluctuate. The system delivers 100% fresh air but varies the supply volume in response to changes in the extract ventilation rate. This innovative system results in a considerable reduction in both gas and electrical consumption whilst at the same time maintaining either a slightly negative or slightly positive pressure in the building as required.
